Colby Schulz

DIRECTOR

Colby Schulz is the proud Director of Choirs at Vandegrift High School. Prior to his time at Vandegrift, he was the Assistant Choir Director at Glenn High School in Leander ISD.

Before moving to Texas, Mr. Schulz attended Quincy University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Instrumental and Vocal Music Education under the guidance of Dr. Kristin Ramseyer. Mr. Schulz can now be found singing around Austin in the Conspirare Symphonic Choir and Un/Heard, a new LGBT+ Tenor Bass ensemble supporting advocacy and diversity in Central Texas.

Mr. Schulz is a proud Missourian who has a love for the outdoors. In his spare time, he can often be found enjoying nature, traveling wherever has a good flight deal, catching up with the people he loves most, or playing his NYT games. Mr. Schulz would like to thank all of his music teachers who have impacted his love for music!
