OUR CHOIRS

Concert Women's choir is the third women's ensemble at Vandegrift High School. This group is comprised of freshman women.

Men's choir is the non-varsity men's choir at Vandegrift High School. This ensemble includes 30 men and is growing strong.

A Cappella is the second women's ensemble at Vandegrift High School. This group is comprised mostly of sophomore and junior women. This choir has close to 35 singers, most of whom take private lessons throughout the year.

Select Women’s Choir is a smaller group of choir members, incorporating dance in their performaces. Select Women perform fun a cappella music, Show Choir numbers, and more. Select Women travel and perform at Renaissance Festival, Trail of Lights, and along with other public performances.

Chorale is a combination of Chorale men and women comprised mostly of juniors and seniors. Members of Chorale sing at a very high level and sing a mixed repertoire throughout the school year.

Chamber is made up of 24 treble & tenor bass singers that are also in Chorale. Students in this class are in two choir periods and they are the very best singers and sight readers. Chamber sings the national anthem at all home football games and competes at the Madrigal Festival every Spring in San Antonio.
